We currently have two-dozen varieties of the wonderful Garden Pinks and Scent Firsts, just starting to produce their first buds and flowers now. Other favourites of late spring include scented bedding wallflowers, and the Dicentra, also known as Bleeding Heart, which burst up from the ground year after year. These are selling fast so make sure you get yours. The pink flowering varieties can be grown in most conditions, but the white ones must be shaded from the midday sun, so are ideal for brightening darker corners of the garden! Late spring flowering Alliums and Camassia have proved popular this year but we still have a number left to choose from, alongside striking Crown Imperials. Pansies and violas are truly plants for all seasons, and we have lots of fresh batches this spring which should flower well into summer.
Our first vegetable and salad packs are in the shop now, but if you aren’t ready yet, don’t worry, there will be plenty more to come over the next couple of months. We enjoyed glorious weather earlier this week, and it is the bright days that really highlight the areas of the garden that don’t get much of the sunshine. Help is on hand with our extensive new range of Shady Solutions! We have selected out nearly three dozen varieties of perennials that should provide colour and interest in those shaded spots, alongside over half-a-dozen ferns. PLEASE NOTE: We do not have any summer bedding plants yet. If you would like to pre-order head to our online shop: we are not taking pre-orders any other way. You can also place orders for summer hanging baskets online too. Comments are closed.
