* Reshaping and planting of beds and borders
* Replanting tubs and planters and cleaning up for spring

Garden advice

We're very happy to offer advice whenever you visit, whether you're looking for something easy, something showy or maybe something rabbit-proof!

Our specialties include cottage garden plants, coastal/drought-tolerant planting, plants for shade, and top quality bedding and patio plants.

Photos are always very useful to us, both of your own garden and of planting styles you would like to emulate. We can also use them if you would like a mystery plant identified!

If you'd like to discuss a particular part of your garden in more detail you can make an appointment with Anna or another member of staff to be sure of their undivided attention - helpful if you plan to visit at a busy time, such as April-June.
There is lots of information we need from you to help you get the border you want.

Fill in the form below and we will get back to you, either for a phone chat or to arrange a free consultation at the nursery, which will usually be on a Wednesday. Paper forms are also available to fill in at the nursery.

Garden design

If your garden is in need of a facelift, or you just want a new look, we can help with everything from plants and designs, to tracking down specific varieties.

At Katie's Garden we have our own trained and experienced garden designers. We also work with many other landscape and design professionals to fulfill your vision for your garden.

Between us we can offer everything from a short on-site visit to generate some ideas - from £40+VAT with short written report / suggested plant lists - to a full design, landscaping and planting service.

One designer we work with is Isobel Bilgen, who has been designing gardens for the past 20 years.

She studied at the Inchbald School of Design in London and gained practical experience from working in Newby Hall Gardens, North Yorkshire.
She undertakes commissions throughout the United Kingdom, and can supervise all aspects of the design process.

Katie's Garden has worked on numerous projects with Isobel, sourcing and supplying plants and sometimes providing the labour too.
