Grasses are wonderful for adding movement and texture to the garden - an often overlooked aspect.
 
In recent times the 'prairie' style has become popular, whereby swathes of grasses are planted among perennials of similar height. They are also very effective when spot planted in gravel areas, and as many are evergreen they can also be used to extend the seasons of interest in flower borders.

Our grasses follow the same pricing structure as our perennials, with the majority priced £3.99 to £7.99.

Our selection ranges from Stipa gigantea (Golden Oats) - which grows to an impressive 6ft - to the ground-hugging evergreen Carex Evergold, with other varieties of Carex, Acorus, Calamagrotis, Festuca, Molinia and Miscanthus among those often available too.
