We are moving to appointment-only visits

18/5/2020

We've been reflecting on how last week went for everyone and as a result, we're going to introduce pre-booked slots for all visits to Katie's Garden from Wednesday 20th May.

It's really important to us that our customers have a comfortable experience when visiting; that our staff and neighbours are also safe. During our first week of opening there were times when visitors had to queue to enter; when our car park was full, and when the traffic impacted our neighbourhood. Our apologies to everyone affected.

So, for the time being we will now be operating pre-booked times at 15 minute intervals for:
Collection 9am-11am (for prepaid orders) Monday-Friday
Shopping 11am-3.30pm (for all visitors) Wednesday-Sunday
. We'll be booking arrival times, you are welcome to shop for as long as you wish

Knowing you have a car park space and shopping slot awaiting you should ensure a much more relaxing trip - gardening is about enjoyment after all!

Partial reopening of Katie's Garden

11/5/2020

Following today's Government announcement we will be reopening our Newbourne nursery with restrictions. The safety of both our staff and our customers is paramount, so please take careful note of measures in place.

CLOSED Mondays and Tuesdays
Open 11am-4pm Wednesdays to Sundays

We will not be allowing people onsite outside of these times. Staff need to be able to work in retail areas (watering, restocking etc) and the reduced opening hours are to allow them time to do this safely.

We will be honouring all orders placed for our home delivery service, and will be continuing this service for our vulnerable customers. If you now wish to collect your order please phone us to book a collection slot.

The number of customers allowed on site at any one time will be restricted and you might be asked to wait in the car park.  The number of customers allowed inside the glasshouse will be restricted further. If you come with another person we will be asking you to stay closely together. We appreciate that people like to come to a nursery to look at the plants, pick them up and read the labels, but we will be asking that you minimise the number of plants and labels you handle for everyone's wellbeing.

We thank you all for your support and cooperation.
