The Bee Cafes are the brainchild of retired engineer Paul Martin, founder of the Gt Bealings Climate Emergency Rapid Response Squad.
Each planter is about a cubic metre in size and packed with pollen- and nectar-bearing plants, grown by us at our Newbourne nursery, for the benefit of hungry bees waking up for their spring forage. Woodbridge Town Council has funded the installation of 10 of these urban pollinator feeding station across the town and they will be officially opened by the mayor, Eamonn O’Nolan, at 11am on Friday 1st March, on Market Hill (Shire Hall if wet).
