Six members of the Katie's Garden team will be heading to this year's Chelsea Flower Show to help out with the planting and/or work as garden greeters. Katie's Garden's Susie Davis is pictured below with designer Laura Carey, who is going to be helped out by Anna, Lucy, Tracy, Lynda and Jane, and Rose (not pictured).

 The ‘Freedom to Flourish Garden’ features a host of East Anglian coastal plants and is all about the benefits of slowing down. The design explores the mental health benefits of living an unhurried lifestyle and spending time in nature, gardens and gardening. Hundreds of plants are being cossetted in our growing area ahead of their trip to London. It couldn't have gone any better: The Talitha Arts Garden was not only awarded Gold at this year's Chelsea Flower Show, it was also judged best garden in the All About Plants category! Congratulations to designers Joe & Laura Carey, and to everyone else involved with the entry.  Just one week until the plants for the Talitha Arts Garden leave us, and more and more are starting to come into bloom. Click on the images to enlarge. Designers Joe & Laura Carey and some of the Chelsea team came for a visit to the nursery to check up on the plants' progress. The good news is that most plants are looking on course for peaking at just the right time! It was decided a handful should get moved into the warmth of Allyhouse to help speed them along. There was also time for a little playing around with plant combinations!   |
