The ‘Freedom to Flourish Garden’ features a host of East Anglian coastal plants and is all about the benefits of slowing down. The design explores the mental health benefits of living an unhurried lifestyle and spending time in nature, gardens and gardening.
Hundreds of plants are being cossetted in our growing area ahead of their trip to London. You can read all about the garden on the RHS website: www.rhs.org.uk/shows-events/rhs-chelsea-flower-show/gardens/2025/addleshaw-goddard-freedom-to-flourish The gold medal winning garden in the Great Pavilion, Chelsea Flower Show 2023, featuring plants grown by Katie's Garden at our Suffolk nursery!
It couldn't have gone any better: The Talitha Arts Garden was not only awarded Gold at this year's Chelsea Flower Show, it was also judged best garden in the All About Plants category!
Congratulations to designers Joe & Laura Carey, and to everyone else involved with the entry. The garden featured on today's coverage of the Chelsea Flower Show on the BBC, with a visit from presenter Monty Don. View it here, starting approximately 35 minutes in and lasting about 10 minutes: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m001m7vc/rhs-chelsea-flower-show-2023-episode-4 Our own Susie Davis also appeared on this evening's ITV Anglia News talking about Katie's Garden's role in growing many of the plants for the garden. If you are going to the show make sure you seek out the garden in the Great Pavilion.
Just one week until the plants for the Talitha Arts Garden leave us, and more and more are starting to come into bloom.

The good news is that most plants are looking on course for peaking at just the right time! It was decided a handful should get moved into the warmth of Allyhouse to help speed them along. There was also time for a little playing around with plant combinations! |
