Apple trees
We have secured limited stocks of premium container-grown trees for this autumn. These will be available to purchase at the nursery from late September 2023, but you can pre-order your tree online now to make sure you get the variety you want!
Supplied in large 12 litre size pots. Most have a current height of approx 4-6 foot.

These apple trees have been grown on rootstocks that will limit their ultimate size to make them more suitable for modern gardens.
MM106 rootstock is 'moderate' giving mature heights of approx 12-15ft.
M26 rootstock is 'semi-dwarfing' giving mature heights of approx 8-12ft.
It is highly likely there will be enough apple trees in your neighbourhood to pollinate one another, but if you are looking to plant two or more compatible varieties to increase yields take a look at this website:

Ensure planting holes are large enough that the root balls are not crammed in. Keep plants watered for the first year, particularly during hot, dry spells in summer. Keep the area around them free of weeds, grass and other plants.
