Primula Polyanthus Victorian Gold Lace.
Often mistaken for being a Primula auricula, this is a real headturner of a plant. The intricate flowerheads are made up of dark red petals neatly edged with gold, held aloft on stalks.
Excellent in pots and planters: combine with spring-flowering bulbs, wallflowers and pansies for a great display. Also suitable for fronts of borders.
Prefers part shade, and soils that retain moisture.
