Freshly potted Pear Trees
Two-year-old plants, field-grown in England. Most have a current height of between 5-7ft.
The listed varieties are grown on semi-dwarfing rootstocks (Quince A), which will limit their ultimate height to approximately 10-15ft
Plant now while they are dormant, so they can get established in the cool, moist conditions.
Ensure planting holes are large enough that the root balls are not crammed in. Keep plants watered for the first year, particularly during hot, dry spells in summer. Keep the area around them free of weeds, grass and other plants.
