We are excited to be growing plants for this year's new RHS Sandringham show in July.  Katie's Garden plants will be in The RHS Pollywiggle Garden  designed by Norfolk-based designers Joe and Laura Carey.

This RHS Feature garden is  naturalistic and wildlife-friendly, inspired by the local landscape to celebrate the “pollywiggle,” (a Norfolk word meaning tadpole) and other froggy friends, to encourage all of us to do more to support this crucial wildlife in our own gardens whatever the space, style and spend available.

Planting up began at the nursery several weeks ago with these spring-flowering bulbs.

We will also be sowing to grow from seed and potting on a selection of specially chosen perennials.

You can find out a little more about the Addleshaw Goddard: Flourish in the City garden on the official RHS Chelsea page - click here.

Four of the Katie's Garden staff went on loan to the Royal Hospital Chelsea to help with the installation of The Addleshaw Goddard: Freedom to Flourish Garden.

Anna, Lucy, Lynda and Tracy spent a couple of days on the planting team, getting the plants in tip top condition and helping to get them into place ahead of the public opening.

Tracy will be returning on press day to work as a garden steward, with Rose and Jane doing the same on Wednesday - if you're going then be sure to say hello!

The garden is outside, in the Small Gardens category.

The plants are on their way!

Susie and Rick have carefully loaded and wrapped the hundreds of plants we have been growing for the Addleshaw Goddard: Freedom to Flourish Garden, and they have now headed off to the Chelsea Showground.

Our involvement doesn't end here though, as several members of Katie's Garden will be following on next week to work on the planting team, with others signed up as garden greeters when the show is open to the public.
