Learn how to plant up like a pro!

Katie’s Garden’s stunning hanging baskets adorn homes, pubs, and public spaces across the area. Join one of the nursery’s workshops and learn how to make your own!

Cost of £40 covers wicker basket, plants and all materials.

Workshops take place on Wednesday 14th May and Sunday 18th May.

New show garden!

Take some time out from the hustle and bustle of life and reconnect with nature – the physical and mental benefits are well known and numerous.

The latest installation in our garden area is Nature’s Medicine Cabinet: The Medicinal Garden. We are expecting it to evolve hugely over the few months it is in place, but it is already an inspiration if you are looking to create a sense of tranquillity in your own garden.

Created by our resident designer, Anna Peachey, the bed is packed with plants traditionally used to treat ailments and illnesses.

We were delighted to welcome roving reporter Luke Deal on 'work experience' in honour of National Gardening Day.

Luke broadcast live from Katie's Garden Plant Centre for Wayne Bavin's breakfast show.

We had a good chat and gave him a hands-on tutorial on planting up a hanging basket.

If you have the means to protect your plants from cold nights, our first patio and basket plants are available to buy now!

We have been filling up Shophouse with lots of strong, healthy plants grown by us here in Newbourne.

The choice includes trailing Petunias and Million Bells, frothy Bacopas, fragrant Nemesias, pollinator-friendly Lobelias, Diascias, Verbenas and Bidens, and very trailing Nepetas, among many others.

Bear in mind it is early in the season, so there are plenty more varieties still to come!
